When using a slightly higher tip temperature, the residue should not burn or darken in color; the flux should not splatter or smoke excessively when soldering;
If the flux is a water-washable cored solder, it should also be easy to remove with hot water;
The flux must be sufficiently active and remain active enough when the tip of the soldering iron is in contact;
In the case of no-clean flux, the flux residue must be benign;
The flux should have the adaptability to solder various types of circuit boards and components.
The special-shaped tin wire is usually used in combination with an electric soldering iron. Whether the soldering iron is used properly has a direct impact on the soldering quality. The heat resistance and safety of the electronic components should be considered when setting the temperature of the soldering iron tip during use, and a constant temperature electric soldering iron should be used if necessary. Make the welding working temperature continuous and durable, so that the welding effect of lead-free solder wire is better. After the soldering operation, the lead-free soldering iron tip and tube sleeve still need a period of time to cool down, and the solder joints and the electronic components to be soldered are still very hot. Please do not touch them with your hands to prevent burns.
Before welding the special-shaped tin wire, the temperature of the soldering iron tip should be measured with a thermometer. The temperature at the tip of the soldering iron is very high, up to 300°C, and the soldering personnel should be careful to be scalded! The soldering action should be fast to avoid excessive heat being introduced into the pads of the circuit board to cause board burning. Use authentic lead-free soldering iron tips matched with manufacturers, counterfeit or poor quality lead-free soldering iron tips, different aperture sizes, and different thicknesses of sleeves. Send to shorten the life of the soldering iron. When the special-shaped tin wire is soldered with an electric soldering iron, the temperature should be the melting point of the solder plus about 150°C according to the size of the soldered piece, the power and type of the soldering iron, the type of the special-shaped tin wire and the diameter of the wire.
